Recruitment of 1750 Clerks Projects 2009
Qualification :
The candidate should possess the following qualifications as on 30.04.2009.
1) Pass with 50% marks in the aggregate, either in the Higher Secondary School (HSC) Examination or Standard XII under the 10+2+3 pattern or Standard XI under the 11+4 pattern or Intermediate Examination or Pre-University Examination from a recognised Educational Board
2) Candidates’ having completed Foundation Course on Computer Awareness & Office Automation for duration of minimum 3 months from a Computer Institute, is desirable. The requirement of having completed the said Course will be waived in case of those candidates having Computer subject as part of the curriculum at the Pre- Degree / Degree level.
3) Knowledge of Regional Language of a particular State / Union Territory for which candidate apply, is desirable.
4) The Educational Qualifications prescribed above for the post is the minimum. Candidates must possess the qualifications as on 30.04.2009. If selected for interview they should furnish (1)(a) HSC Passing Certificate and (b) University FINAL DEGREE Passing (CONVOCATION) Certificate. (Provisional Degree Passing Certificate will be accepted only in case of those candidates who have passed the Degree Final Examination during the last 1 year, i.e. between 01.05.2008 and 30.04.2009 and the University has not conferred the Degree on the applicant – Degree Certificate required to grant additional increment / fitment, if eligible) & (2) Year-wise / Semester-wise Mark sheet for each year / semester in respect of the Degree Examinations from the educational institution they have studied, and (3) Computer Course Passing Certificate from a Computer Training Institute in support of having completed the Foundation Course in Computer Awareness.
5) The Percentage of Marks stipulated for the Educational Qualification is for General (Unreserved) Category Candidates. Candidates belonging to the Reserved Category (SC / ST / OBC / PWD), filling in vacancies reserved for the relevant category, will be entitled to a relaxation of 5% Marks in relation to that stipulated for General Category Candidates. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC / PWD categories filling in “unreserved” vacancies will not be entitled to the above referred relaxation.
How to apply
i) Candidate should have a valid e-mail id.
ii) The candidate should apply on-line through website www.bankofindia.co.in
iii) As a First Step, candidate should take out Pre-printed Challan.
iv) Against the above-said Challan, the candidate should make the payment of fees in any of the Bank of India branches on or before 27.06.2009.
v) Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him a Unique Transaction Code No. ( In case of Non-C.B.S. Branches,such Transaction Number will not be given).
vi) Candidate should visit again the website www.bankofindia.co.in under the caption “Recruitment & Career” and should fill up the application available after click at the end of the Notice.
vii) Unique Transaction details and Challan No. should be correctly filled in application at appropriate place (This will not be applicable for SC / ST / PWD & Ex-Servicemen Candidates,).
viii) Application should be saved and after verification submitted by click to submit button.
ix) Application should be printed and photo affixed on that, to be kept ready for submission to us at the time of interview at the Interview Venue.

Recruitments in Andhra Bank for Probationary Officers, Special Officers, Marketing Associates and Clerks
Educational qualifications :
Probationary Officers-JMGS-I : Graduation in any discipline with I class with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any University recognised by UGC.
Technical Officer JMGS I : B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical with I Class with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any university recognised by UGC/ any AICTE accredited Institution.
In addition to graduation in Engineering with First Division Candidates with MBA (Finance) from any University recognised by UGC/ any AICTE accredited Institute will be preferable.
Officers-HR JMGS I : MBA (HR)/MA (HRM)/MA (Social Work with Specialisation in PM & IR) with 1st class with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any university recognised by UGC/AICTE accredited Institution.
Chartered Accountants MMGS II : Graduate of any recognised university with a pass in the final examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Marketing Associates (On Contractual Basis-Junior Level) : Graduation in Arts/Commerce/Science with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from any University recognised by UGC
Knowledge of local language is essential.
Knowledge in Computers(MS Office use of web is essential).
Period of Contract: -Two years with a review of performance at an interval of six months.
The contract may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance and requirement of the Bank.
CLERKS : Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University or 10 + 2 Examination or equivalent with First.
Class with 60% marks. Knowledge of Official Language of the State/UT to which the candidate applies is essential.

1. For Probationay and Specialist Officers : Rs.400/- for all others including OBC & Ex-Servicemen. Rs.75/- for SC/ST/PWD.
